Dr. Rebecca Clauder
Dr. Rebecca Clauder grew up in the beautiful countryside of the Adirondack mountain range in upstate New York. After obtaining her high school diploma, she moved to Cobleskill to complete her Associate's in Agricultural Science at the State University of New York. In her spare time, she could be found contra-dancing, roller skating, or handling scale-babies in Reptile Club.
Shortly after, she moved to Ithaca, NY to obtain her Bachelor of Science degree at Cornell University. When she was not studying, she was often participating in the Contra Dance Club, Sign Choir, or competitive board games with friends.
Upon completion of her first two degrees, she spent a year in Texas as a veterinary assistant. Here, she would often find time to dance a salsa or twirl around to a country two-step.
After her year away from university, she moved to Glasgow, Scotland to earn her Bachelor's in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery. Here, she balanced her studies with ceilidh dancing and board game nights with her close friends.
She started general practice in February of 2023. Since then, she has become a Fear Free certified professional. She continues developing her whole-body approach to medicine, with a special interest in behavior, nutrition, and exotic medicine.
