Dr. Michelle Shelton
Dr. Shelton was born and raised in Southern Indiana. She dreamed of being a veterinarian since she was a small child. After completion of her undergraduate degrees, she spent time teaching and practicing dental hygiene at the university.
She was also a veterinary technician and assistant for a total of 12 years before attending veterinary medical school. She obtained her veterinary degree from Purdue University, and practiced small animal medicine in Washington State, Alabama, and Georgia since graduation. She moved to Tennessee in September 2022 to be closer to family.
She enjoys spending time with her son, traveling, hiking, fishing, photography, reading, and spending time with her two dogs, one cat, and husband. She has one child (Elias) and three pet children: Yoshi (Shiba Inu), Dixie (Corgi), & Leopold (Siberian Cat).
